Backup Lights

In every text book with reference to diving in dark environments, you will find the notion that it is essential not only to carry a primary light, but also a back-up light, in case your primary light fails. You don’t want to be forced to end a dive in a spectacular cave or wreck because of a lighting issue. Backup lights are usually smaller than primary lights, so you can easily store them in your pockets or clip them to your gear.
