The torch has a titanium allow push button side switch and a safe lock function to prevent accidentally turning on the torch. The head has a very narrow beam angle of just 3 degrees and is adjustable by rotating the head, to a maximum of 18 degrees. The torch battery is rechargeable with the included USB cable.
