Warranty Policy
At Online Dive Gear, we want every customer to feel confident and supported long after their purchase. We work closely with each brand to ensure your warranty claim is handled smoothly and fairly.
While we assist at every step, the final outcome of any warranty claim is determined by the manufacturer, who may choose to repair, replace or refund the item in line with their policies and Australian Consumer Law.
Before submitting a claim, please ensure you have:

Some brands require their own claim portal or forms — we’ll guide you through this during your claim.
HOW TO SUBMIT A WARRANTY CLAIM
To begin your warranty claim, please ensure you have the above information ready, then complete our online Warranty Claim Form.
IMPORTANT NOTES

All warranties apply to manufacturing faults only, not misuse, accidental damage or wear-and-tear.

Most warranties apply to the original purchaser and require proof of purchase.

Some brands require product registration within a set period.

For products used commercially, in rentals or instruction, warranty terms may differ — please contact us.

While manufacturers have obligations under Australian Consumer Law when a major failure occurs, they retain the option to remedy the issue through repair, replacement or refund.

For items that can be easily posted back, customers may be asked to return the product for assessment. If the product is confirmed to be faulty, we will reimburse any reasonable return shipping costs.

• Warranty varies by analyser model (commonly 12–36 months).
• Sensor warranties vary; some graded sensors covered for 36 months.
• Excludes misuse, contamination, incorrect gas exposure or damage.
APOLLO
• 12-month warranty on all products.
• DPV batteries: 6-month warranty.
• Must be purchased from an authorised dealer.
• Proof of purchase and service records may be required.
AQUATEC
• 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects.
• Excludes misuse, improper care, neglect or modification.
ATORCH
• 12-month general product warranty.
• Batteries: 6-month warranty.
• Excludes misuse, incorrect polarity or modification.
BACKSCATTER
• 12-month manufacturer warranty on housings, lights and accessories.
• Flooding caused by improper sealing is not covered.
• ACL rights apply.

• Wetsuit materials: 2 years.
• Seams/workmanship: 7 years.
• Zips and valves: 1 year.
• Undergarments: 1 year.

• 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

• 3-year warranty for breakage, delamination or material failure.
• Covers manufacturing defects only.

• 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

• 1-year warranty on all products.

• Cylinder structural warranty applies per manufacturer guidelines.
• Hydrostatic test cycles apply.
