Fourth Element's Xerotherm range is the ultimate baselayer for your drysuit. The Polartec® Powerstretch® material, developed originally for NASA, works by trapping a layer of air between your skin and the material, providing excellent thermal protection. The Xerotherm range can be worn alone as an undersuit with neoprene drysuits, or underneath another undersuit for extra thermal protection.
The long sleeve top has thumb loops to ensure the ease of donning your drysuit, these need to be pushed back inside the seals of your suit to prevent leakages. Stitched with flat seams for comfort and a long body to help prevent separation between the top and leggings.
The fabric is the fastest moisture wicking of Fourth Element's ranges, removing moisture and perspiration from the skin and spreading this out on the external layer of the material, maintaining the layer of air between the material and your body. Many divers have not even noticed minor leaks until after the dive as this system is so effective.
Xerotherm is preferred by FBI Dive Teams, the Norwegian Navy and British Police Dive Units.
