Fourth Element's Xerotherm range is the ultimate baselayer for your drysuit. The Polartec® Powerstretch® material traps a layer of air between your skin and the material, a much better insulator than water therefore providing excellent thermal protection. The material was originally designed for NASA.
The Xerotherm range can be worn alone as an undersuit for neoprene drysuits, or next to your skin with another undersuit for extra thermal protection.
The leggings are designed with a high waist to prevent separation with the top and secure foot loops so the leggings don't ride up. Flat seams have been used for next to skin comfort, minimalist design but with maximum performance was the idea behind this item.
The knit of the Xerotherm fabric offers the fastest moisture wicking of Fourth Element's ranges, pulling moisture from the skin and spreading this out on the external layer of the material, maintaining the layer of air between the material and your body. Minor leaks in a drysuit have not been noticed by users when wearing the Xerotherm undergarments as this is so effective.
Xerotherm is preferred by FBI Dive Teams, the Norwegian Navy and British Police Dive Units.
