The idea, to prevent the body's physiological response to cold of sending all of your blood to your core and away from your extremities. A warmer core means longer, more comfortable dives in even the most extreme conditions.
The X-Core Vest for women minimises bulk in the shoulders and arms meaning movement isn't restricted, and lack of bulk reduces the effects on your buoyancy. The long body design and stretch material ensures a snug fit helping to retain even more heat within the body. The extra chest panel ensures core warmth, with fast wicking material moving moisture away from the skin to ensure the wearer stays dry and warm.
The X-Core vest is designed to be worn underneath Arctic, Halo or any other drysuit undergarment, with its best performance given when worn on top of a thin base layer such as the J2 or Xerotherm, though it can be worn next to the skin and will still provide excellent thermal protection.
