One of the main features that sets these apart from the rest is that there is no drop in power! Some blades lost part of their power after only weeks of use, whereas the Dive R blades have now been in production for over 6 years and have no reports of drop in performance or breakages! The blades have been tested to over 1 million revoluations with no degradation in function or the mechanics of the fin. The performance and durability of these fins is unparalleled!
The fins are available in composite or carbon and in soft or medium flex. The moulded Ocean Hunter foot pockets (and installation) are optional.
Fin Flex Recommendations:
These are general recommendations only and you need to consider your own level of power, fitness and experience. The softer the flex, the more dives you will be able to do without causing unnecessary fatigue. The stiffer the flex, the more power you will have but this comes at a cost.
If you are under 80kg or will be doing long surface swims then it is generally recommended to opt for the Soft Flex.
If you are over 80kg or will be diving mostly from a boat with little surface swims then it is generally recommended to opt for the Medium Flex.
