Founded in Taiwan in 1983 as a small family company led by Frankie Chen, Aquatec has successfully become a global supplier of scuba diving equipment and diving tools.
Passionate about providing sustainable solutions and customised products, Frankie Chen led the company in carrying out in depth field surveys and evaluations to create innovative diving products.
This has been shown in the creation of their Scuba Dive Alert products such as the Duo Alert, a safety tool designed to make high frequency noise, with up to a kilometre range on the surface and 100 metres underwater, quickly becoming an essential piece of safety equipment for divers globally.
Winners of the Taiwan Excellence Award and the Good Product Design Award, Aquatec successfully exports to 45 countries.
