The Inon D200 has a front dome lens with unique INON T-shape twin flash, which widens the powerful strobe light without sacrificing any power to achieve an underwater coverage of 110 degrees. Unlike conventional translucent diffusers which can widen coverage by consuming power and storing heat, this dome lens has been designed to diffuse light by using the right ratio of air, acryllic and water.
The D200 has overcome the drawback of high-power strobes, which have long flash durations. The Inon D200 reaches full power in a very short time, delivering full power even at 1/1000 high shutter speed setting, without cutting power.
It comes with the Strobe Light Shade accessory, to cut part of the strobe light reducing ghost or flare and backscatter. The shade rotates 360 degrees and is simple to operate.
The strobe is equipped with circular metal heatsink, providing high thermal conductivity around the light emitting area and releasing heat generated by the strobe, which improves the heat tolerance.
The D200 features a built-in Shutter-linked Auto-Off Focus Light, which delivers 220 lumens brightness, helping the camera to focus on your subject. The Focus Light has a Fresnel lens in front, supporting more accurate strobe aiming and improved usability. It uses a white base high-intensity phosphorescence material for the back panel, improving visibility both during day and night dive.
The control dials are enlarged for user-friendly controllability, even when using thicker gloves during cold water diving.
