Atomic Aquatics was founded by Dean Garraffa and Doug Toth in California in 1996 after 20 years of earning reputations for designing innovative diving equipment and creating numerous trailblazing patents for a major manufacturer. They established Atomic Aquatics with a mission to create the highest calibre of diving equipment.

The founders set about the company with a passion to create new standards of excellence, for superior materials and design and to simplify and enhance the diving experience.

Atomic Aquatics has been recognised by many award juries and have won design awards including the prestigious Red Dot Award for product design, in fact, being the first company in the dive industry to be recognised by the Red Dot committee in the sporting goods category.

Atomic Aquatics offer a range of scuba equipment but are best known for their range of regulators, achieving the impossible of natural breathing underwater. Delivered through their patented Automatic Flow Control (AFC) Atomic Aquatics promise to deliver a controlled air delivery sensation where inhalation at depth feels the same as it does on the surface.
